Ahmet presented an invited talk at the 2026 Gordon Research Conference: Neurobiology of Drug Addiction in Barcelona, Spain.

Ahmet presented a poster at the 2026 Society of Biological Psychiatry in New York, NY, supported by the SOBP Early Career Travel Award.

Ahmet accepted a faculty position from the Department of Psychiatry at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai to launch his independent research program. The Ceceli Cognitive Control Lab at Mount Sinai will open for business in Fall 2026.

Ahmet received the NARSAD Young Investigator Award from the Brain and Behavior Research Foundation!
